Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 21-ounce cans blueberry pie filling
  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 1 cup butter melted

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and prepare a 9x13 pan with a light coating of cooking spray.
  • Spread the blueberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the prepared pan.
  • Carefully distribute the cake mix over the blueberries in an even layer.
  • Pour the melted butter over the cake mix.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 50-55 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Spray the 9x13-inch dish before baking, paying special attention to the corners.
Distribute the filling evenly across the bottom of the baking dish.
Shake the dish after adding the cake mix. This helps the excess cake mix fall into open places.
Use a liquid measuring cup to evenly distribute the butter.
