Oven-roasted brussels sprouts are baked until golden-brown and crispy then tossed in a sweet and spicy honey sriracha sauce for a simple side dish with a lingering flavor-packed finish. Everyone is going to love the flavor combination in these honey sriracha brussels sprouts.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 3 whole garlic cloves
  • 2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons honey
  • 2 Tablespoons sriracha

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and prepare a baking sheet with non-stick spray or foil. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine the brussels sprouts, garlic cloves, olive oil, salt, pepper and crushed red pepper.
  • Spread the flavored brussels sprouts onto the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until tender and golden brown.
  • Meanwhile, whisk together the honey and sriracha until fully combined.
  • When the brussels sprouts are done, drizzle the honey sriracha sauce over and toss until coated.
  • Serve.

Notes

  • Roast the brussels sprouts in just the olive oil and seasonings, don't add the sauce until AFTER roasting.
  • Use aluminum foil for easy clean-up!
  • Use a 50/50 ratio of sriracha to honey and adjust the sauce quantity to suit your taste.
