Air Fryer Mummy Apple Mini Tarts
Pie crusts get a mummy makeover with apple filling, strips of pie crust and spooky candy eyes.
- 2 pie crusts homemade or pre-made
- 20 oz apple pie filling canned or homemade
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 Tablespoon milk
Trim the edges off the circular pie crust to create a square.
Cut the square into 4 sections.
Use a food processor to chop the apple pie filling and top each section with apple pie filling.
Use the discarded edges of the circle to cut strips. Lay the strips over the apple pie filling to make mummy gauze.
Use a fork to crimp pie edges together.
Place the pies in the basket of the air fryer and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until the crust begins to turn golden brown.
Meanwhile, prepare the glaze by stirring together the confectioners sugar and milk/water.
Drizzle the glaze over strips of crust and place googly eyes on the tarts.
