Gingerbread Dip

Ingredients

  • 8- ounce block of softened cream cheese
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup confectioners sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons molasses
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 cups whipped topping
  • Optional: Crushed Gingersnap Cookies

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer on low speed to beat the cream cheese, brown sugar, confectioners sugar, molasses, ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold in the whipped topping and mix until well incorporated. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
  • Serve with favorite dippers such as gingerbread men, gingersnap cookies, fruit, ect.

Notes

  • Soften the cream cheese ahead of time. It's essential for a smooth and creamy dip. If the cream cheese is cold, you will have chunks in your dip.
  • Feel free to make adjustments to the flavor. This dip is very forgiving and you can easily adjust any of the ingredients to fit your needs.
  • Don't use the mixer to mix in the whipped cream for the best results. Too much mixing may deflate the fluffiness of the dip.
