  • 12 Brussels Sprouts - ends trimmed off
  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 2 Tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and prepare a baking sheet by lining with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
  • Slice bacon strips in half.
  • Carefully wrap each brussels sprout with bacon, being sure to overlap the edges slightly.
  • Brush or spoon maple syrup over each bacon wrapped brussels sprouts and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 25- 30 minutes or until the bacon is golden brown and brussels sprouts are tender.
  • Serve.

Notes

Use fresh Brussels sprouts not frozen! I can't guarantee you will have the same results with this swap.
Make sure you choose Brussels that are similar in size for more even cooking.
Brush the bacon wrapped Brussels sprouts on a cutting board or plate instead of the baking sheet. Too much maple syrup on the pan may cause it to burn before the bacon and sprouts are done cooking. Brushing or spooning the maple syrup on a different area allows the access to drip off and prevent burning. 
Use thin bacon for the crispier bacon Brussels sprouts.
