After testing my way through all the top oat milk pancake recipe options, I discovered this is the winning combination of ingredients to use for the best pancakes with oat milk! However, if you need to make some substitutions you can adjust the following ingredients:
- Flour: You can use 1/1 gluten-free flour replacer, whole wheat flour, or oat flour but the texture of the final result may be different and you may need to adjust the milk quantity.
- Granulated sugar: You can use your favorite granular sugar replacer if needed.
- Oat milk: Swap out with your preferred milk option (either regular dairy or another plant milk).
- Eggs: Egg replacer works fine for this recipe.
- Melted dairy-free butter: Also works with any oil you prefer instead.

How to Make Oat Milk Pancakes
Making this oat milk pancake recipe is so easy!
Start by whisking together the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl until well combined. I like to use a whisk to do this but a fork or even a quick whirl with the electric mixer will do just fine.
Once the dry ingredients are well combined add the wet ingredients, oat milk, eggs, and melted dairy-free butter.
Use an electric mixer at medium-low speed until nice and smooth.
Set the batter aside and prepare the skillet for cooking.
The ideal temperature for cooking pancakes is about 375 degrees. On the stovetop, this means heating a frying pan over medium-high heat for just a few minutes.
Once the pan is heated, you can use non-stick cooking spray or dairy-free butter to grease up the pan a little bit. This will make it easier to flip the pancakes and prevents the batter from sticking.
Alternatively, you can use an electric griddle. I love using a griddle at my house because it allows me to make a huge batch in about half the time.
Another benefit to the griddle is it is easy to get the temperature to exactly 375 to make perfect pancakes every time.
When the pan is ready, pour the batter into the skillet.
As the batter is cooking, you will start to notice little bubbles rise to the surface. After a couple of minutes, they will start to pop and fill back in with the batter.
Once the bubbles start popping and do not fill in, it's time to flip!
Use your spatula to flip the pancake over.
Cook an additional minute or two or until the pancake is fully cooked through and both sides are nicely golden brown.
Remove the pancakes from the skillet or griddle and set aside until all the batter is used.
I like to serve my oat milk pancakes with dairy-free butter on top, maple syrup, and of course some fresh fruit but you can dress them up however you want!

Instructions
